Chairmans Message

As Chairman of Naas Rugby Club I would like to take this opportunity to welcome you all to another season here at Forenaughts. Last season was a tremendous success at all levels and we aim to surpass those achievements during this campaign.

Have no doubt we at Naas Rugby Football Club have a lot to be proud of. We have achieved a standard and footing in Irish Senior Rugby that is the envy of many, made possible only by the commitment of our players at all levels, and the careful planning of successive executives and club members over the past 25 years or so. We have excellent facilities, thriving girls, minis and youths and an outstanding senior section, in addition to a healthy balance sheet with no borrowings.

Naas RFC are working through a Five Year Development Plan which has seen extensive draining work carried out to date on our pitches and the next phase for the coming season is to install Pitch Lights for our 2nd and 3rd pitches. This will be accomplished on a phased basis without exposing ourselves to excessive borrowings.

The potential of Naas RFC is huge. You the members will define the limits of our ambition, and we need you to get involved. There is always something that needs to be done in the club, so please contact any executive member and offer your services, even for the smallest task.

Your support on and off the field is vital, and I have no doubt that in return you will have a most enjoyable, fun packed season.
