The death has occurred of Anthony (Charlie) Grendon Straffan, Kildare / Celbridge, Kildare / Garristown, Meath

GRENDON, Anthony (Charlie) (Straffan and Celbridge Co. Kildare and formerly of Garristown, Co. Meath) May 13th, 2026 (peacefully) in the loving care of the staff at Connolly Hospital, Blanchardstown. Beloved husband of Deirdre and devoted father of Robert, Anthony, Leigh and Katie-Ann; sadly missed by his loving wife, sons, daughter, grandchildren Hollie, Naoise, Cian, Sophia and Eli, daughters-in-law Nora, Kerrie and Michelle, brothers PJ and Patsy, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

May he rest in peace.

Reposing at home on Sunday evening (May 17th) between 3 pm and 6 pm. Removal on Monday morning (May 18th) to St. Patrick’s Church, Celbridge arriving for Funeral Mass at 11 am followed by burial in Donacomper Cemetery.
